Anger Management

Learn basic communication skills so that anger is the last response to getting your viewpoint across. Anger is often the spur to communication because the person has not developed an effective strategy to communicate views without the head of steam to do it.

If anger still needs to be dealt with while developing these skills then learn to walk away when anger is about to dominate the situation. If you have a personal relationship then you can make an agreement with that person to walk away when the situation is getting out of hand. This means time to cool off and develop what is needed to be said without the anger.

Learn not to exaggerate situations. React appropriately. When you examine the situation about which you have become angry it will often be over a really trivial event and yet anger is one of the more physically damaging reactions to stress so learn to change this behaviour.
