We can easily recognise that we need to make changes in our lifestyles in order to reduce the levels of stress that we experience. The list can include cutting caffeine, reducing smoking to starting an exercise programme etc.
However, if we try to implement these changes too fast and on too large a scale then we will simply create more stress for ourselves. A Type personalities are always very keen to get on with things and see the result yesterday.
This reaction is part of the behaviour pattern that needs to be changed in order to reduce stress levels- learn to do one thing at a time and see the end result before moving on to the next thing.
So, be modest. Start with an achievable goal and enjoy the success of it and then create another. Less stress and real achievement.
